What is your job at Avanti?
At Avanti, I work closely with our Care Coordinator and make sure each carer has enough time to properly support every client we have. I make sure the rotas are fair and geographically friendly for our care team too! I stay in regular contact with GPs, social workers, and District Nurses to ensure that any updates to your care are communicated to our team quickly. By working closely with them, I make sure you always have everything you need, and that your care is delivered smoothly and consistently. I am the first person carers can reach out to if they need support with their rota!
What do you love most about your job?
I really enjoy onboarding new clients, getting to meet them, and learning about their unique stories. Supporting our team and making sure they’re happy in their roles is something I love too. Having started at Avanti as a carer myself, I understand the challenges, and I always strive to offer the same support that I once received!
What do you like doing outside of work?
I love spending time with my Son and Grandson, whether we’re heading out for a fun day together or enjoying a nice meal. I also like working on home renovation projects and unwinding with a good film or series when I have some downtime!
