Join the Avanti Team: A Career Where You Make a Real Difference

At Avanti Homecare, we believe that great care is built by great people. Every day our teams in Ripley and Ilkeston and Long Eaton support older adults to stay safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they love most, their own home. Behind every visit is a team of skilled and compassionate professionals who bring warmth, structure and humanity to the work that keeps Avanti moving.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for people who share our values and want a career where kindness, professionalism and purpose come together.

Here are the roles we are currently recruiting for and what they mean within our organisation.

Deputy Care Manager in Ilkeston

Our Deputy Managers work closely with the Registered Manager to support the day to day running of the branch. This includes carrying out assessments, managing performance, working with outside professionals, and ensuring that every client receives safe, personalised support. It is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys problem solving, leadership and building strong relationships with clients and staff.

Registered Manager in Ilkeston

Our Registered Managers are responsible for leading their branch with compassion, clarity and confidence. This role involves supporting staff, overseeing client care, building relationships with health professionals, and ensuring that the service runs smoothly each day. It is an ideal role for someone who is motivated by people, leadership, and high standards. At Avanti, our Registered Managers are central to creating the supportive and caring culture our teams value.

Homecare Assistants wanted across Ilkeston, Long Eaton, and Ripley

Our Homecare Assistants are the heart of Avanti. They support clients with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, companionship, reablement and the daily routines that help people feel safe and confident at home. We offer part time roles in Ripley, Ilkeston and Long Eaton for people who want flexible work that fits around their life.

You do not need previous care experience to become a Homecare Assistant if you are applying from within the UK. We welcome people from all backgrounds and provide full training, mentoring and support from your very first day. What matters most is kindness, reliability and a genuine desire to make a positive difference.

For applicants joining us through our Sponsorship Switch route, at least one year of care experience is required. This helps ensure confidence in the role and supports a safe transition into homecare within our team.

We are proud to welcome people at all stages of their career, whether they are brand new to care or bringing previous experience into the role.

Career Growth at Avanti

One of the things that makes Avanti special is our commitment to developing our people. We have members of our care management teams that began their journey with us as carers. With the right support, they found their strengths, gained new skills, and grew into leadership roles that now shape the service we provide. We love seeing people progress, and we offer clear routes into quality roles, coordination, training, and management for those who want to build a long term career in care.

Why People Choose to Work at Avanti

A supportive culture where people matter

We believe that good care starts with how we treat our staff. We listen, communicate clearly and make sure people feel supported in their roles. Many of our team members say the reason they stay is because the work feels meaningful and the environment feels positive and friendly.

Training and continuous development

With a dedicated trainer and a structured People and Development team, we take learning seriously. Everyone receives a thorough induction and ongoing refreshers, and there is always room to grow.

A team that feels connected

At Avanti, no one works alone. Our coordinators, managers, trainer, and head office team work together every day to support the people delivering care in the community. Whether someone needs guidance, reassurance or help with a challenge, there is always someone ready to step in.
