What is your job at Avanti Homecare?
As the Deputy Manager for our Ripley branch, I work side-by-side with Bryan to make sure every part of your care runs smoothly. Day-to-day that means:

  • carrying out regular quality and wellbeing checks in the community;
  • completing thorough risk and client assessments;
  • writing and updating detailed, person-centred care plans;
  • supporting and mentoring our wonderful care team; and
  • liaising with outside professionals so every service you receive is perfectly joined-up.

You’ll hear from me often—whether that’s a friendly call to see how things are going or a visit to review your care together. My goal is simple: to ensure you feel safe, listened to and truly cared for.

What do you love most about your job?
I love watching people grow—clients regaining confidence, carers developing new skills, and our whole team pulling together to solve problems creatively. Knowing that the little improvements we make each day can brighten someone’s life is what gets me up in the morning.

Outside of work you’ll usually find me buried in a good novel (I’m studying English Literature part-time), experimenting with new craft projects, or catching up with family and friends over a steaming mug of coffee. At the weekend I like exploring the Derbyshire countryside—or curling up with a classic film when the British weather does its thing!
