What is your job at Avanti?

As the Senior Care Coordinator for our Ripley branch, I make sure every carer has enough time to provide the best possible support for each of our clients. I carefully plan the rotas to ensure they’re fair and geographically efficient for our care team. I stay in regular contact with GPs, social workers, and District Nurses so that any updates to your care are shared with our team promptly. By working closely with them, I help ensure your care is delivered smoothly, consistently, and with everything you need in place. I’m also the first point of contact for carers who need support with their rota!

What do you love most about your job?

What I enjoy most is being able to make a real difference in people’s lives through compassionate, person-centred care. I take pride in being a reliable point of contact and source of support for both clients and staff, building trusting relationships along the way. I also value the responsibility of managing rotas and coordinating schedules in a way that balances client needs with staff wellbeing, ensuring everyone feels supported and cared for.

What do you like doing outside of work?

I love spending time with my family and friends, whether that’s going out for a nice meal, having a cosy night in, or planning our next little adventure. I really enjoy going on camping trips and holidays, and I’m always up for exploring new places, there’s nothing better than making great memories and having a good laugh along the way!
