We are so proud of Ellie, our first employee to pass the Skills for Health Care Certificate. Ellie only joined our team in February so she has worked really hard to finish all the courses and practical work required by the Care Certificate. Well done Ellie for completing it in record time!

The Care Certificate is the first step in the professional qualifications our carers can progress through and is designed to introduce carers to a range of skills including: Fluids and nutrition, Awareness of mental health, dementia and learning disabilities, Safeguarding adults and Basic life support.

Ellie dropped into our office yesterday where Lucy presented her with her certificate and a bottle of fizzy to celebrate her achievement. Ellie is much loved by the team and the people she cares for and always goes above and beyond in her care for our clients.

We hope this is the first step on the road to further qualifications and career progression for Ellie as part of the Avanti Team.
